Chesterfield Law Centre is rebranding including relocating its Chesterfield Office. From the 14 April 2014 we will be trading as Derbyshire Law Centre, 1 Rose Hill East, Chesterfield our telephone numbers remain the same.

Chesterfield Law Centre® aims to achieve equal access to justice for all sections of the community by providing free legal services.

Chesterfield Law Centre® can offer free, confidential help, advice and representation to residents of Derbyshire in social welfare matters.

The advice and representation that we offer depends on where a person lives.

We cannot always take on a particular case, as we may not specialise in the type of law required, but we try to give advice on finding another agency or source of advice.

We attempt to be accessible to everyone, and offer the following services.

  • Wheelchair accessible meeting rooms and interview room
  • Home visits
  • Translators and signers
  • Textphone and mobile text systems
  • A fitted and portable loop system
